Skill is now looking for electronics assemblers for future needs at Saab Surveillance in Järfälla.

Your Responsibilities

As an electronics assembler at Saab, your tasks will include assembly, soldering, inspection, and testing within electronics production. You will actively need to read and understand drawings and documents in both Swedish and English. If necessary, you will also work with deviation management.

The role of electronics assembler is varied and includes both new manufacturing and the development of early prototypes based on provisional documentation. The work also includes repair and improvement of existing products as well as modification and review of aftermarket products. You will work according to applicable ESD and IPC standards.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and manufacturing. Your personal qualities are important as we place great demands on collaboration skills and being receptive within the organization. Saab is in a position where the business is changing and developing. In addition to the members of your own group, you will often interact with both development engineers and production technicians, which means that interest, ideas, and innovation are valued traits. The work requires that you are meticulous and have a strong quality awareness. To thrive in the role and meet expectations, we see that you:

• Have education in electronics or in a technical field

• Have experience in electrical work and assembly

• Are practically oriented and can read drawings

• Have experience working with circuit board handling

Meritorious:

• Education or experience working according to IPC A-610 or IPC A-620

• Soldering certificate (FSD 5115 or equivalent)

• Experience with advanced electronics and mechanical constructions

• Experience working with administrative planning systems (MPS)

• Training in ESD or knowledge of its impact and risks on electronics

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
